Peak Industrial Electrical was commissioned to carry out the design and installation of the cabling and control systems to the retractable overland conveyors for the Heap Leach recovery operations. The project scope included the supply and installation of the MCCs and control system - which included the management of an agglomerator with multiple drive torque control, fixed and moveable conveyors, and MCC for stacking and materials transferral. A feature of the project was the cable management system with removable sections to accommodate the retracting conveyors. Peak designed and fabricated a ‘plug and play’ solution that accommodated a quick changeover that combined the power and control cabling into a consolidated connection point with common cabling between each removable conveyor section. |
