Esperance Power Station- (WA) 2003/2008
|
Commencing at the greenfield site within the Esperance Port Precinct in 2003, Peak Industrial Electrical carried out the supply and installation of the electrical and control systems for six gas-fired units at the then-9MW power station. The project scope included the supply and installation of LV and HV cabling and equipment and control system wiring and commissioning, as well as the installation of transformers, pre-commissioning and energisation. Peak also carried out extensive earthing works throughout the site area. Peak completed stage two of the project in 2008. This second stage was for a major capacity expansion at the power station, to an increased capacity of 12MW. For this project, Peak supplied and installed further cabling and infrastructure for two additional gas-fired units in order to increase the total capacity of the station by 3MW. |
